Our position
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising (also called targeted advertising).
- We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.
- We use no advertising cookies and no data brokers.
1. No sale or sharing
Under California law (the CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and the laws of several other US states, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information and its “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. Binder Blitz does neither. We have not sold or shared personal information in the past 12 months, and we do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. Because we do not sell or share, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” switch to press: your choice is already respected. If this ever changes, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy before it happens and give you a working opt-out.
We share personal information only with service providers who process it for us under contract (see Sub-processors). We use sensitive personal information (an account log-in, with the password stored only as a hash) only to provide and secure the service, so there is nothing to limit.
2. Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal (Sec-GPC: 1), we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser, and, where it applies to you, as a request not to enable optional functional or analytics storage. Since we do not sell or share, honouring it has no effect on which providers process your data, but it does mean we will not turn on optional items because of your visit. You do not need to log in for this to work.
3. Cookie and storage choices
You can change your choices for optional storage (such as remembering an affiliate referral code, or optional analytics) from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the main site at the home page. Your choice is stored in your browser under the key binderBlitz.consent.v1. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.
4. Marketing choices
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or change your preference in your account, or email keironjwest@gmail.com. We send marketing only if you have opted in.
5. How to make a privacy request
To access, download, correct or delete your personal information, or to appeal a decision:
- In the app: sign in, go to Account, and choose Download my data (JSON export) or Delete my account.
- By email: keironjwest@gmail.com. Please write from the email address on your account and say what you would like. We may ask you to verify your identity.
- Through an authorised agent: we will need your written permission and may verify your identity directly with you.
We respond within 45 days (we may extend once by up to 45 more days and will tell you why), free of charge. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights: no different prices, service levels or quality.
